Renegades announce team awards for 2023/24 season
YOUR Renegades wrapped up another successful season with the announcements of the team awards for the 2023/24 season!
While the team fell short of their goal of winning the Russell Cup, they did fin ish first in the GMHL South Division with a record of 35-5-0-2, including a 17-game winning streak.
YOUR Renegades had a league-high eight All-Star selections and Christopher Rende was named Best Forward and South Division MVP. His lineman, Joseph Martino, captured the South Division’s Best Defensive Forward award and was Best Forward runner-up.
Other Renegades honoured include Eric Stephenson (Best Defenceman, 1st Runnerup), Jedidja Somersall (Best Defenceman, 2nd Runnerup), Darryl Lloyd (Coach of the Year, 2nd runnerup) and Reilly Wosik (Rookie of the Year, 1st runner-up).
Congrats to Coach Darryl Lloyd and his staff on another successful season! We would also like to thank our players, parents, fans and our sponsors for helping make the 2023/24 season a memorable one!
