Gagne named GMHL Goalie of the Month
If you look at the top of this year’s goalie statistical leaders, near or at the top of almost every category you will find the same name, Nick Gagne.
In his first year with YOUR Renegades, the goaltender has answered the call for North York almost every chance he has gotten.
He is 5-1-0 on the season (third in the league and second in the division for wins) with his lone defeat coming in overtime. Gagne is the league leader in Save Percentage (.947) and Goals Against Average (GAA) the only goalie in the league with a sub 2 (1.63 GAA).
The Greater Metro Junior ‘A’ Hockey League ‘Players of the Month’ honours is a distinction awarded to the player who is adjudged the best at his position & rookie (born 2006 and later and maintains rookie eligibility) through each month of the season.
Congrats Nick!
