Rende named GMHL Forward of the Month
YOUR Renegades’ Christopher Rende has been named GMHL Forward of the Month for October.
Now in his third season with North York, Rende is scoring at an elite clip this season, topping the league with 37 points in 11 games to help lead North York to first place in the GMHL South Division.
The Greater Metro Junior ‘A’ Hockey League ‘Players of the Month’ honours is a distinction awarded to the player who is adjudged the best at his position & rookie (born 2006 and later and maintains rookie eligibility) through each month of the season.
Rende leads the league in assists and is second in the league in goals with 22 and 15 respectively.
Born in 2004, the Vaughan native is already close to matching his rookie season total of 42 points and is on pace to smash his career high of 64 last season, currently trending towards 141 points for the 2023/24 season.
