North York Renegades are set to host their 2025 Prospect Tryout Camp from Tuesday, August 12 to Thursday, August 14 at York Canlan’s Rink 6.

Designed for high-level players aiming to compete in the GMHL and beyond, the camp offers an elite opportunity to showcase talent in front of OHL, OJHL, and junior-level coaches.

Each evening runs from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, starting with one hour of on-ice skill development, testing, and evaluation, followed by an intense dryland training and combine-test session.

This is not just a tryout — it’s a high-performance assessment.

Players will be evaluated on skating, edgework, puck control, physical fitness, and hockey IQ. The Renegades staff are looking for competitors who can bring effort, discipline, and character to the ice.

Cost for the camp is $300. E-transfers can be sent to renegadeshockeyclub@abrams.ca.

Spots are limited on the reigning South Division champions and this is the first step toward earning a roster spot with one of the most development-focused organizations in the league. Come ready to compete!
