Renegades Acquire Veteran Goalie
YOUR Renegades are proud to announce the addition of Cameron Werney, a 2006-born goaltender from Mactier, Ontario.
Standing 6’0, Werney joins the Renegades fresh off a championship season in 2024–25 with the Bradford Rattlers.
Werney is a composed, agile, and technically sound goaltender with a strong awareness of high-danger scoring opportunities. His game is built on efficient movement, allowing him to position himself effectively and make difficult saves look routine.
With an advanced ability to read plays and recognize threats, Werney brings a steady presence to the crease and will be a valuable addition to the Renegades’ goaltending group.
He made an immediate impression this past weekend, recording a 34-save shutout in his Renegades debut.
