Renegades Alumni Update: Ryan Fritz
YOUR Renegades are extremely proud of all of the players that have pulled on our uniform over the years and there is nothing we like more than to celebrate their success.
Forward Ryan Fritz, who scored 51 goals and 80 assists in just 38 games with YOUR Renegades during the 2022/23 season, has signed with the Mississippi Sea Wolves of the Federal Prospects Hockey League.
Fritz is excited about his move to the Gulf Coast and wants to show the fans in Mississippi what he is capable of on the ice.
“To play for an organization that has a base is a great opportunity and it doesn’t hurt to have warm weather all year long! I think with a good team and a good coaching staff I can do some damage,” said Fritz. “ I’m an ultra-competitive person with high hockey IQ and a hard worker. I like to think I’m good person in the room and good person to be around and love getting involved in the community.”
Fritz score 26 points in 12 playoff games to help propel North York to the Russell Cup tournament in 2023. The 23-year-old forward from Mississauga split time between the Elmira River Sharks and the Brampton Buccaneers last season.
Congrats Ryan! We will continue to watch your career unfold. You will always be #unitedinred
