Huge congratulations to YOUR Renegades’ Jedidja Somersall, who was named GMHL Defenceman of the Month for October 2022.

Born in 2002, YOUR Renegades captain has been the top defenceman in the league when looking at an overall game all season so far.

Not only is he providing shut-down defensive play for the 13-1-0 first place Renegades, but he is also providing top level offence from the back end leading the GMHL East leagues (North and South) in scoring amongst defenceman with 31 Points (5G, 26A) in his 14 games so far.

Prior to joining the Renegades,  Jedi played 3 years of  U18 AAA with the Markham Waxers program.

Jordan Riviere of the Ville-Marie Pirates was named the top forward and Bradley Roncin of the High Prairie Red Wings earned the nod as the top goaltender. The Temiscaming Titans’ Philippe Falardeau was named rookie of the month.

The ‘Players of the Month’ honors is a distinction awarded to the player who is adjudged the best at his position & rookie through each month of the season.
