GMHL Announces 2026 All-Star Team Selections
The Greater Metro Hockey League (GMHL) has officially announced its 2026 All-Star Team selections, recognizing the league’s top players for their performance, consistency, and impact throughout the season. Players were nominated by their teams and drafted by the selected All-Star coaches.
The annual All-Star event celebrates both player excellence and the leadership of coaches who have guided their teams to success across the league.
“Being named a GMHL All-Star is a significant accomplishment and a reflection of the dedication and commitment these athletes have shown all season,” said the GMHL Commissioner. “We are proud to recognize the outstanding talent across our league and congratulate every player, coach, and organization represented.”
YOUR Renegades will have a strong presence at this year’s showcase. Goaltender Vladimir Vovchuk has been selected to the Black Division team, while team captain and defenceman Eric Stephenson earned a spot on the White Division roster.
The Renegades will also be represented in the GMHL U18 Top Prospects Game, with forwards Tamerlan Kamalov and Austin Roberts selected to compete.
The puck drops on Tuesday, January 13 at 5:00 PM, at the home arena of the Wasaga River Dragons in Wasaga Beach. Fans can look forward to an exciting, high-tempo game featuring many of the league’s top young players and future stars.
It will be a night to celebrate elite junior hockey talent as YOUR Renegades take centre stage at the 2026 GMHL All-Star Event.
