Jake McKinstray joins YOUR Renegades
YOUR Renegades are excited to announce that we have signed former Niagara Falls Canucks forward Jake McKinstray.
Born in Oakville, the 5-foot-10, 170-pound forward played in 47 games in the GOJHL, scoring 10 goals and adding 10 assists with 63 minutes in penalties for the Canucks.
McKinstray was drawn to North York due to its recent success as GMHL South Division champions and the franchise’s reputation for providing players a great place to play.
” I joined because I wanted to continue playing hockey and North York gave me that opportunity,” McInstray said. “They are always a competitive team with a great coaching staff, so it was an easy decision.”
The 21 year old has plenty to offer YOUR Renegades on and off the ice.
“I try to play a fast and smart game,” McKinstray said. “I like to get up the ice quick and look to dish it to a teammate. I also think I’ll bring some experience to the room and try to pass it on to the younger guys.
“I’m looking forward to meeting the fellas and having a great time on and off the ice.”
Welcome Jake! You are now #unitedinred
