YOUR Renegades acquire Elias Najem
YOUR Renegades have made a trade to acquire Elias Najem from the Bradford Bulls for 5th-round draft pick and financial considerations.
And he is on a mission.
“I’m here to win,” Najem said. “I am looking forward to doing my part and getting the Renegades another (South Division) championship and go all the way.”
The 5-foot-9, 160-pound forward played in 35 games for the Bulls last season, scoring 9 goals and 41 points. Najem’s best asset may be his willingness to share — the puck and his experience.
“I’m a playmaker at heart with a scoring touch,” said Najem, who had 32 assists last season. “I’m a student of the game and have that creative mindset to make plays and find guys in areas that are unexpected to give them a good chance at finishing off the play.
“Also being an older guy with all my experience ready to help lead and shape up the younger guys and help them get to the next level.”
Welcome Elias! You are now #unitedinred
