Renegades Alumni Update: Mateo Cabral
YOUR Renegades are extremely proud of all of the players that have pulled on our uniform over the years and there is nothing we like more than to celebrate their success.
Mateo Cabral, a forward for North York during the 2019/2020 season, is now playing hockey professionally in Sweden with the Division 2 team Njurunda.
Cabral looks back on his time with the Renegades with fondness and how it helped him develop as a player.
“My time with the Renegades taught me to trust in my skills and helped build confidence to take my game to the next level,” said Cabral, who is entering his third season playing professionally overseas. “It also gave me some close friends, great memories of always being in the rink. I enjoyed playing with Tj Hunter, Keegan Parsons and a young Nik Salov!”
Congrats on your continued success, Mateo! You will always be #unitedinred!
